Abstract: The characters of “Zhong” and “He” are importantly derived from Chen’s gift tradition. They are the concentration and display of the preservation of the wisdom and humanistic sensibility of the Chinese and Xia people. The two respectively form the focus of gift and joy. The combination of “middle” and “harmony” in “Talk” is suitable, and it shows that the “neutral” energy has taken shape in the era of “Talk”. With the development and perfection of our country’s tribute civilization system, the concept and connotation of “neutrality” are becoming more and more abundant and systematic. Not only does it realize the understanding and appreciation of truth, goodness and beauty of the Chinese people, but it also constitutes the focus of Chinese traditional tribute civilization, which is the driving force for its development.
